SEC163 – Infrastructure and Architecture
In this course on Infrastructure and Architectures, students will explore advanced topics in securing IT environments.The course begins with an examination of infrastructure threats and security monitoring, including various networkattacks and methods for monitoring and alerting. Students will learn about security appliances, secure infrastructuredesign, and technologies such as VLANs, DMZs, and Zero Trust. The course also covers wireless network attacks anddefenses, including vulnerabilities and protections for various wireless technologies. Finally, students will delve intocloud and virtualization security, covering cloud computing models, vulnerabilities, and security controls, as well asvirtualization security concerns. Through hands-on projects and case studies, students will gain practical skills insafeguarding complex IT infrastructures.
