Student Right to Know Act
The Student Right to Know Act requires that institutions receiving Title IV funding disclose certain information, including institutional graduation rates, athlete graduation rates, financial assistance awarded and crime statistics. Specific guidelines exist as to the method and timing for reporting and disclosure to potential students, current students and employees. Institutions are required to provide enrolled students a list of the information to which the students are entitled upon request. The Higher Education Act (HEA) specifically requires that institutions provide the list annually to all enrolled students.

Veteran Affairs Educational Benefits
VA Chapter 31 and Chapter 33 – Pending Payment Compliance
In accordance with Title 38 US Code 3679 subsection (e), Unitech Training Academy adopts the following additional provisions for any students using U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Post 9/11 GI Bill (Ch. 33) or Vocational Rehabilitation & Employment (Ch. 31) benefits, while payment to the institution is pending from the VA. Unitech Training Academy will not:
- Prevent the student’s enrollment;
- Assess a late penalty fee to the student;
- Require the student to secure alternative or additional funding;
- Deny the student access to any resources (access to classes, libraries, or other institutional facilities) available to other students who have satisfied their tuition and fee bills to the institution.
However, to qualify for this provision, such students are required to:
- Produce the VA Certificate of Eligibility (COE) or Form 28-1905 by the first day of class;
- Submit a request to be certified;
- Provide additional information needed to properly certify the enrollment as described in other institutional policies.
- Make payment arrangements for a difference between the amount of the student’s financial obligation and the amount of the VA education benefit disbursement.
