NET163 – Network Architecture, Segmentation, and Wide Area Networking

In this course, students will study network architecture, including physical architecture, virtual architecture, and cloud architecture. They will explore segmentation, a technique used to improve network performance and security, including concepts of subnetting and VLANs. Finally, students will gain insights into Wide Area Networking (WAN), which connects networks across large geographical areas. They will learn routing protocols, securing WAN connections, and troubleshooting WAN connections.
